Pozible Crowdfunding Diary

Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m a Mum of four and an Australian Indigenous composer. My latest Composition Project, and my very first Pozible Crowdfunding Campaign, is CHOIR 4 KAROLLINI.

Karollini is a set of ten remastered, rerecorded SATB and Piano Australian Carols and Festival Songs, recorded for me at 2 MBS Fine Music Founders Studio by Tonus Australis and Audio Engineer Joe Goddard. They’re easy to sing and suitable for church choirs.

My SATB / Piano Karollini Songbook scores will be published on http://www.scoreexchange.com in September, in time for a CD Launch and Concert. With no grant money forthcoming, crowdfunding is the only option for my team to stage a concert of these songs before Christmas.

We’re running a Pozible Campaign to fund the singers, an accompanist, and the venue hire, which I’ve costed, and it comes to $10,000. So that’s our target. I’m offering 10 free concert tickets to supporters who donate $100 or over to this campaign.

If we reach our funding target I can confidently promise you an evening of beautiful, lyrical new Australian Christmas music, at a local Parramatta or Sydney venue, professionally presented, and endorsed by an Aboriginal Elder’s Welcome to Country.
